Zoff reveals monster new official Godzilla eyewear collection

Pre-orders have officially opened for a new eyewear collaboration featuring the King of the Monsters, Godzilla.
The collection is titled “Zoff | GODZILLA” and marks the first collaboration between the eyewear brand Zoff and the iconic kaiju franchise.

Godzilla, which first appeared in 1954, recently celebrated its 70th anniversary in November 2024.
The franchise continues to see massive global success, with the recent Japanese film Godzilla-1.0 becoming a hit worldwide and the Hollywood production Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire grossing over 84.5 billion yen globally.

This new eyewear collection features three distinct models, each inspired by a specific era of the film series: the Showa era, the Heisei era, and the Reiwa era (specifically Godzilla-1.0).
Each pair comes with an original case textured to look like Godzilla’s skin and a cleaning cloth printed with visual art corresponding to the specific model’s era.

Here is the full product lineup:
- Godzilla Model

Features a classic shape inspired by the 1950s when the first film was released, with temples textured like the original Godzilla’s rugged skin and an “Oxygen Destroyer” pin accent.

- Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla Model

Based on the 1993 film, this frame features an asymmetrical design representing both Godzilla and Mechagodzilla, incorporating motifs like their heat ray colors and the “United Nations Godzilla Countermeasures Center” mark.

- Godzilla-1.0 Model

Inspired by the 2023 hit, this frame reproduces the heavy coloring and the scar on Godzilla’s left cheek, with blue lines on the inner temples evoking his atomic breath and hidden details like the “Toyo Balloon” logo.

The “Zoff | GODZILLA” frames are priced at 15,500 yen (approx. $100.75 USD / £79.50 GBP) each, which includes a standard set of lenses.

Pre-orders opened on November 21 via the Zoff official online store.
The collection is scheduled to release at select Zoff physical stores and online on Friday, December 5, 2025.
