Zenless Zone Zero’s Japanese pizza chain collab will offer exclusive in-game items
HoYoverse, the creators behind global hits like Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, has announced an exciting collaboration between its action RPG, “Zenless Zone Zero”, and popular Japanese pizza chain Pizza-La.
This exciting announcement comes as the game gears up for it’s first anniversary ‘Version 2.0’ update, which has now been confirmed to release this June.
Zenless Zone Zero is an urban fantasy action RPG that immerses players in a post-apocalyptic world threatened by mysterious, extradimensional calamities known as “Hollows.”
Known for its stylish aesthetic, fast-paced combat, and intriguing characters, the game is available on PlayStation 5, Android, iOS, and PC.
The new Pizza-La team up is part of “Operation Yum 2025”, which will see a number of collaborations take place globally, with fans in the UK and Singapore also able to participate.
Fans in the UK will be able to visit Butchies, a popular London based fried buttermilk chicken burger chain, whilst fans in Singapore can grab collab menu items at LiHO Tea from the 19th of June to the 7th of August, 2025. Dates for the UK/Butchies collab are yet to be confirmed at the time of writing.
The Pizza-La collaboration in Japan is set to run from May 27th to June 18th, 2025, and will offer an exclusive item pack for customers who order the special collaboration menu items.
This pack will include valuable in-game items for “Zenless Zone Zero,” such as unique icons and calling cards, allowing players to personalize their in-game experience with exclusive Pizza-La themed content.
To mark the announcement, an exciting animated video featuring the characters Anby and Burnice was also released, building anticipation for the crossover.
The culinary collaboration isn’t the only exciting news for “Zenless Zone Zero” fans.
HoYoverse also announced a partnership with the popular Japanese arcade chain GiGO (formerly SEGA Amusements).
This arcade collaboration is scheduled to take place in Summer 2025, promising even more opportunities for fans to engage with the world of “Zenless Zone Zero” through arcade-exclusive merchandise or activities.
These collaborations between “Zenless Zone Zero” and well-known brands like Pizza-La and GiGO are designed to build hype and offer unique fan experiences, bridging the gap between the game’s world and daily life.
Further details regarding the collaboration menu items available at Pizza-La, and the specifics of the GiGO collab, are to be announced shortly.
