Yu-Gi-Oh!’s Mai Valentine joins Kotobukiya’s affordable “OSHI WORKS” figure line

Kotobukiya has announced a new addition to its recently launched “OSHI WORKS” figure series, featuring a popular character from the classic anime Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters.
The latest release in this new line will be a 1/7 scale figure of the duelist Mai Valentine.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters is the iconic anime series based on the manga and trading card game, which became a global phenomenon.

Mai Valentine is one of the original series’ most prominent duelists, known for her signature Harpie Lady and Amazoness card decks.

The “OSHI WORKS” figure line is based on the Japanese word “oshi” (meaning “favorite”).

Kotobukiya is positioning this as a wallet-friendly series perfect for new and seasoned collectors alike, emphasizing affordability while maintaining high-quality sculpting and paintwork.

This 1/7 scale Mai Valentine figure stands approximately 23 centimeters tall.

It’s designed to be “Collectible and FUN,” featuring a standardized square base that makes it easy to display with other figures in the series.

The figure comes partially assembled and connects to the printed iron plate base using magnets.

The “Mai Valentine OSHI WORKS” figure is priced at 8,800 yen (approx. $57.16 USD / £43.46 GBP) and it is scheduled to be released in June 2026.

Pre-orders are now open directly via Kotobukiya and their official international retail partners, such as HobbyLink Japan.
