You’ll need to win a lottery to buy the latest Gundam x Hatsune Miku collab figure

A lottery to win the chance to purchase the latest in the Gundam x Hatsune Miku collab figure line is now open.

Premium Bandai, the official online shopping website operated by Bandai Namco, will be conducting a second lottery-based sales event for the highly sought-after “RG 1/144 MS-06S Zaku II [Hatsune Miku Ver.]” Gunpla model kit, starting from 3:00 PM (Japan Standard Time) on April 21st 2025.

The Gundam x Hatsune Miku collab is an ongoing team up to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the Gundam series.

The collaboration has seen a range of promotions such as live virtual music shows and Gundam x Hatsune Miku themed capsule toys take place so far, with more planned throughout 2025.

Another Gunpla kit, the “Strike Freedom Gundam Type II [Hatsune Miku Ver.]”, has also been released under the Gundam x Hatsune Miku branding, with this particular model currently being displayed at the Gundam Exhibition taking place in Akihabara until September 2025.

The iconic “Zaku II” mobile suit, a staple of the Gundam universe, has now been meticulously recreated as a Real Grade (RG) Gunpla model kit, presented in a striking color scheme directly inspired by the globally recognized virtual singer, Hatsune Miku.

This unique rendition is a key component of the special collaborative project titled “Gundam 45th Anniversary x Hatsune Miku”, which seeks to celebrate the long-standing legacy of the Gundam franchise in conjunction with the cultural phenomenon of Hatsune Miku.

The refreshing and visually distinctive color palette of white/grey, black, and teal, instantly recognizable as Hatsune Miku’s signature hues, has been faithfully reproduced through the utilization of precisely colored molding during the manufacturing process of the plastic parts.

In terms of included weaponry and accessories, the model kit comes equipped with the Zaku machine gun, the powerful Zaku bazooka, and the signature heat hawk melee weapon, allowing for a variety of dynamic display options.

The kit includes original and intricately designed realistic decals specifically created for the Hatsune Miku Ver., adding an extra layer of detail and customization to the finished model.

Enthusiasts and collectors interested in acquiring this special edition Gunpla will be able to submit their applications for the lottery during a designated period that runs until 2:00 PM (JST) on May 20th.

The retail price for the “RG 1/144 MS-06S Zaku II [Hatsune Miku Ver.]”, including Japanese consumption tax, is set at 3,850 Japanese yen.

The announcement of the lucky winners who will have the opportunity to purchase this exclusive item is scheduled to take place on May 22nd.

Shipping of the model kits to the successful lottery winners is currently scheduled to commence in September of the year 2025.

Applications for this second lottery sale are currently being accepted through the dedicated product page for the “RG 1/144 MS-06S Zaku II [Hatsune Miku Ver.],” which can be found on the official Premium Bandai website.

Other collaborations under the “GUNDAM x MIKU” banner have included a virtual Hatsune Miku concert as well as a collection of rubber mascot straps that have been released in capsule toy machines across Japan.
