Yomiuriland Jewellumination
Yomiuriland Jewellumination is one of the Tokyo area’s largest and most spectacular annual winter illumination events.
This breathtaking display transforms the entire Yomiuriland amusement park into a magical world of sparkling lights.
The illumination is produced by the world-renowned lighting designer Motoko Ishii.
Her unique design concept is based on the colors of gemstones, creating a vibrant and jewel-like fantasy landscape.
Millions of LED lights are used to decorate the park’s attractions, trees, and pathways, each with a different gemstone theme.
Many of the amusement park’s rides, including the roller coasters and ferris wheel, remain open during the event.
Riding these attractions at night offers a stunning and dynamic view of the illuminated park from above.
A major highlight of the event is the hugely popular fountain show, which features a stunning combination of water jets, lights, and music.

Directions & Travel Information
- By Train & Ropeway/Bus

- Keio Line
- Take the Keio Line to Keio-yomiuri-land Station.
- From the station, take the “Sky Shuttle” gondola ropeway directly to the park entrance.
- Odakyu Line
- Take the Odakyu Line to Yomiuri-land-mae Station.
- From the station, take an Odakyu Bus to the Yomiuriland bus stop.
