Yoko Takahashi is taking the music of Evangelion on a major new international tour, with the singer behind A Cruel Angel’s Thesis announcing her first solo Asia tour spanning five cities from October 2026 through April 2027.

The “YOKO TAKAHASHI EVANGELION Live Tour 2026 -Nocturne-” will travel through Taipei, Singapore, Hong Kong and Seoul before finishing with a homecoming performance in Tokyo.

Takahashi has been closely connected with Evangelion since performing A Cruel Angel’s Thesis for the original Neon Genesis Evangelion TV anime in 1995, before returning for Soul’s Refrain as the theme song for the 1997 movie Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death & Rebirth.

Both songs have remained central to Evangelion’s musical identity for decades, while Takahashi has continued performing music from across the franchise at concerts and anniversary events in Japan and overseas.

The new tour arrives during an especially active period for Evangelion’s music following the franchise’s 30th anniversary celebrations, which included Takahashi’s EVANGELION FLASHBACK special live performance at the EVANGELION:30+ event in February 2026.

That anniversary concert once again placed A Cruel Angel’s Thesis and Soul’s Refrain at the center of the set alongside other songs associated with the series, continuing a celebration that also produced Takahashi’s EVANGELION FLASHBACK anniversary album in late 2025.

The Nocturne tour begins in Taipei on October 24, 2026 at Legacy TERA, marking the first stop of a run that will continue across Asia for almost six months.

Singapore follows on December 19 at the Capitol Theatre, before Takahashi opens 2027 with a Hong Kong performance at TIDES on January 16.

The fourth concert takes place in Seoul on February 27 at Welch-Ryang Auditorium at Ewha Womans University, bringing the tour to South Korea before its final date in Japan.

Takahashi will then conclude the five-city run in Tokyo on April 17, 2027 at Shinagawa Prince Hotel Stellar Ball.

More information about the individual concerts, including ticketing arrangements, is being announced separately for each city rather than through a single tour-wide sale.

No North American dates have been announced as part of the current schedule, with the newly revealed tour remaining focused on Taipei, Singapore, Hong Kong, Seoul and Tokyo.
