YOBARAI Detective is getting a Switch 2 upgrade this fall
An enhanced, “Nintendo Switch 2 Edition” has been announced for the every-directional action shooter, YOBARAI Detective: Miasma Breaker.
The new version of the game is scheduled to be released in the autumn of this year.
The original version of YOBARAI Detective: Miasma Breaker was first launched for the Nintendo Switch in January.
The game is a top-down, “every-direction” action shooter that emphasizes the thrill of defeating massive hordes of enemies.
It features a quest-based structure, where players must complete missions to earn rewards that can be used to strengthen their characters.
The story follows Shinobu Kisaragi, a detective who is secretly an agent for an organization that exterminates evil spirits known as “Miasma.”
This new, “Nintendo Switch 2 Edition” will feature a number of technical improvements over the original.
These include an improved screen resolution and the addition of mouse support for aiming.
The first-ever, playable demo of this new version of the game will be available at the upcoming “8th National Entertainment Festival,” also known as “Zentame.”
This event is scheduled to be held in Kakamigahara, Japan, on Saturday, the 18th of October, and Sunday, the 19th of October.
