Umamusume x KFC collaboration to return for a limited time
Kentucky Fried Chicken Japan has announced the return of its popular collaboration with the hit mobile game “Umamusume Pretty Derby”.
The new campaign is a re-release of a successful promotion that was first held in August 2024.
The promotion will feature a special, limited-time meal deal, a prize lottery for exclusive merchandise, and a revival of a special in-game event.
The main offering is the “How About a Walk with an Umamusume Today? Pack,” which is a special meal set.
This pack will be sold exclusively through the “KFC Net Order” online ordering platform.
Customers who purchase the collaboration pack will be eligible to enter a special prize lottery.
The lottery will give winners one of three different types of exclusive, original collaboration merchandise.
The prizes are as follows:
- Prize A: A diorama acrylic stand (100 winners)
- Prize B: A 9-card trading card set (100 winners)
- Prize C: A collaboration-design KFC gift card (100 winners)
In conjunction with the real-world food promotion, a special event will also be re-released within the Umamusume Pretty Derby game itself.
The in-game content, called the “KFC Walk,” will also be making its return for the duration of the campaign.
The “How About a Walk with an Umamusume Today? Pack” is priced at ¥1,000.
The collaboration is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, the 9th of September, and will run for a limited time until the 29th of September, 2025.
