Tokyo’s SEGA Joypolis theme park announces price increases
SEGA Joypolis, the popular Tokyo indoor theme park located in Odaiba, has announced that it will increase all ticket prices starting from July 1st.
The company stated that the decision to increase prices comes after careful consideration of a recent increase in energy costs and other operational expenses.
Joypolis is one of Japan’s premier indoor amusement parks, known for its high-tech attractions, virtual reality experiences, and thrilling rides that often incorporate cutting-edge digital technology.
It is located within the Decks Tokyo Beach complex in Odaiba, a popular waterfront entertainment district in Tokyo and it attracts a significant number of local and international visitors.
As an indoor facility, it relies heavily on consistent energy supply for its numerous attractions, lighting, air conditioning, and other operational systems which makes it particularly susceptible to fluctuations in energy prices.
The impending price revisions will affect all tickets for admission to the park and several tickets for individual attractions.

Admission tickets only cover entry to the park itself and individual attractions must be paid for separately.
Passport tickets include admission and unlimited rides on all attractions in the park.
