Timberland’s Sonic collab returns with new Shadow boots and apparel
A new apparel collaboration has been announced between the iconic footwear brand Timberland and SEGA.
This is the second partnership between the two brands, which saw the launch of a limited-edition Sonic the Hedgehog themed boot and apparel range back in August 2025.
This new capsule collection is themed entirely around Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic’s immensely popular rival.
To celebrate the collaboration, a world-first, exclusive new visual has been created, depicting Shadow the Hedgehog himself wearing a pair of Timberland’s 6-Inch Premium “Yellow Boots.”
Shadow is known as Sonic’s ultimate rival, a perfectionist who matches the blue blur in speed and power.
The new lineup features this special Shadow visual on three different items: the 6-Inch Boot, a long-sleeve T-shirt, and a short-sleeve T-shirt.
Here is the full product lineup:
- 6-Inch Premium Waterproof Boot
- Price: 38,500 yen (approx. $250.08 USD / £190.15 GBP)
This boot features the new Shadow visual stamped on the heel and on the hangtag.
It is finished with Shadow-inspired red laces and is limited to only 30 pairs worldwide.
- Long-Sleeve Graphic T-Shirt
- Price: 14,300 yen (approx. $92.88 USD / £70.62 GBP)
This shirt features the new Shadow art as a one-point design on the left chest, with the Sonic series title logo on the right arm and a red Timberland logo on the left.
It is limited to 50 units per color.
- Short-Sleeve Graphic T-Shirt
- Price: 11,000 yen (approx. $71.45 USD / £54.32 GBP)
This shirt features the special Shadow visual printed boldly on the back, with the Sonic and Timberland logos on the left chest.
It is also limited to 50 units per color.
The T-shirts are available in both white and black.
The white shirt uses a half-rubber print for a vintage-like finish, while the black shirt has a “frost processing” to give it a tough, faded look.
Customers who purchase any of the collaboration items will also receive an original sticker while supplies last.
This highly limited collection is scheduled to be released on Friday, November 21, 2025.
It will be sold exclusively at only two locations: the Timberland Shibuya PARCO store and the Timberland Canal City Hakata store.
