Tifa and Yuffie dress as 2B for new FFVII Ever Crisis NieR crossover event
Tifa Lockhart and Yuffie Kisaragi are set to don the iconic attire of the android 2B in a newly announced crossover event.
The new “YoRHa No.2 Type B Intercept – Encounter in the City Ruins” collaboration brings the world of the NieR series into Square Enix’s mobile RPG, Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis.
Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis is a chapter-structured RPG that covers the entire timeline of the FF7 compilation.
The NieR series, particularly NieR:Automata, is an acclaimed action-RPG franchise known for its philosophical themes and distinct android character designs.
This collaboration highlights new “2B-style” outfits for two of the main heroines.
Tifa will receive the “Attacker Gear” and the weapon “Demonic Grief,” while Yuffie will receive the “Savior Gear” and the weapon “Fatum Ex Machina.”
Players will face off against 2B herself, who appears as the event boss.
By clearing panel missions during the event, players can earn the enemy skill “Spinning Blade Throw.”
This is the latest in a surge of activity for the Final Fantasy VII franchise.
Square Enix recently opened pre-orders for a “BRING ARTS” figure of Aerith in her classic design, as well as a new prequel novel titled “FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH Dear Destiny,” which explores the backstories of Cloud, Tifa, and Aerith.
The “YoRHa No.2 Type B Intercept – Encounter in the City Ruins” event is scheduled to begin on Thursday, November 28, 2025.
Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis is available now on iOS, Android, and PC (Steam).
