The sold out Gundam Wing Heero Yuy flight jacket is getting another re-release

A re-release has been announced for a popular flight jacket from a collaboration between the Gundam-themed apparel brand STRICT-G and the heritage military brand, ALPHA INDUSTRIES.
The new, made-to-order production run is being held to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Mobile Suit Gundam Wing franchise and is set to offer fans who missed out previously another chance to acquire this unique Gundam-inspired jacket, which is themed around the protagonist, Heero Yuy, from the anime Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz.

ALPHA INDUSTRIES is a legendary American apparel company, founded in 1959, which has been an official supplier of outerwear for the U.S. military and is known for its authentic, high-quality military fashion.

The N-2B is a classic, short-waisted flight jacket designed for pilots, featuring a distinctive, zip-split hood with a fur trim.

This collaboration model is designed to be an authentic military garment that is also inspired by Heero Yuy’s in-series costume.

The jacket features a variety of custom-designed patches on the chest and sleeves that evoke the world of the anime, creating a special and subtle piece of fan apparel.

To commemorate the re-release, a special gift-with-purchase campaign is also being held.

All customers who purchase the jacket will receive a free, exclusive acrylic stand, which features a new, original illustration of Heero Yuy wearing the jacket.

The “STRICT-G ALPHA N-2B – Heero Yuy Model” is available in a range of sizes from S to 3L and is priced at ¥55,000 (approx. $370 USD/£276 GBP).

The re-release is being handled in two phases, covering online and in-store sales separately.

An advance pre-order period began on Friday, the 5th of September, at 1:00 PM Japan Standard Time on the “STRICT-G Online Store” within the Premium Bandai website, and will run until the 28th of September, 2025.

A general in-store release is scheduled to follow at the four physical STRICT-G retail locations starting on Saturday, the 20th of September, 2025.
The stores are located at DiverCity Tokyo Plaza in Odaiba, Tokyo Solamachi, the NEOPASA Shizuoka Expressway service area, and the Taga Expressway service area.
This latest re-release follows the re-release of another previously sold-out Heero Yuy-themed jacket based on SPIEWAK’s HOODIE L-2 flight jacket, which took place earlier this year.
