The Quintessential Quintuplets eyewear collection released in Japan

Popular eyewear brand Zoff has announced its first-ever collaboration with “The Quintessential Quintuplets”.
The full lineup of the “Zoff x The Quintessential Quintuplets*” collection has been revealed, with the new eyewear drawing inspiration from the different personalities and styles of the five Nakano sisters.
“The Quintessential Quintuplets” was originally a manga series by Negi Haruba serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine and sold over 20 million copies.

The story follows Futaro Uesugi, a high school student hired as a tutor for the five beautiful but academically challenged Nakano quintuplets: Ichika, Nino, Miku, Yotsuba, and Itsuki.
The series gained further popularity through its anime adaptations. The “TV special anime “The Quintessential Quintuplets*” was created to commemorate the 5th anniversary of the anime series.
The “Zoff x The Quintessential Quintuplets*” eyewear collection features five frame designs, one for each quintuplet.

Each pair of glasses incorporates elements reflecting the individual sister’s style, making them appealing to fans while maintaining an aesthetic suitable for everyday use.
All glasses in the collection are priced at ¥13,300 (approx. $92.47 USD / £68.92 GBP), including standard lenses, and come with an exclusive case and a special glasses cleaning cloth featuring unique artwork.

Let’s take a look at each of the designs in the collection!
Nakano Ichika

This black-colored frame incorporates “ear stud metal parts” as an accent on the front.

The tips of the glasses feature a Frappuccino motif.
Nakano Nino

A thin, lightweight metal frame with a matte finish.

The temple tips feature Nino’s favorite animal, while the sides are adorned with her trademark butterfly ribbon motif.
Nakano Miku

This Wellington frame showcases motifs inspired by Miku’s signature headphones and a memorable croissant design.

The front parts subtly reference Sengoku warlords, and the cool coloring embodies Miku’s reserved yet passionate personality and love for history.
Nakano Yotsuba

With a slim, round shape that offers a soft and unisex style, this frame perfectly captures Yotsuba’s kind and energetic nature.

The temple tips feature her iconic ribbon motif, and the sides incorporate a clover design.
Nakano Itsuki

A demi-colored Wellington frame inspired by her hair color, designed to blend with the skin.

This model is inspired by Itsuki’s personality, featuring her signature ahoge (a single strand of hair that sticks up), as well as her favorite food, meat buns.
A star-shaped hairpin motif is also included on the front.
As a special pre-order bonus, customers who order any pair of collaboration glasses from Zoff stores in Japan or overseas during the limited period will receive an exclusive acrylic stand.

These stands feature original illustrations of the quintuplets wearing glasses and dressed in light blue dresses.

To enhance the fan experience, five Zoff stores across Japan will host special fan corners from May 21, 2025, to June 22, 2025.
Each of these stores will offer fitting corners for the eyewear, display life-size panels of the quintuplets (with character displays varying by store), and sell limited-edition capsule toys.

The capsule toys will be Trading Can Badges featuring the original illustrations.
There are two badges per character, totaling 10 types, and they will be priced at ¥500 per badge. As with most capsule toy/gashapon sales, they will be provided at random.

For those who wish to collect them all and don’t want to take a chance on a capsule machine, a complete set of all 10 trading badges will be available online only for ¥5,000.
The fan corners will be available in the following stores:
- Zoff Sapporo Apia
- Zoff Ikebukuro Sunshine City Alpa (Tokyo)
