Japanese underwear brand HIPSHOP has launched a new collaboration with the iconic 80s-era “Generation 1” of the Transformers franchise.
The new “HIPSHOP TRANSFORMERS Series” is being released to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the globally popular “Robots in Disguise” brand.

HIPSHOP is a brand that specializes in creating a wide variety of colorful and stylish underwear, often in collaboration with popular pop culture properties.

This new collection focuses on six of the most famous and beloved characters from the original 1980s animated series, The Transformers.

The lineup is split between the two warring factions, the heroic Autobots and the evil Decepticons.

The full lineup of six different designs is as follows:
Autobots
- Optimus Prime

- Bumblebee

- Jazz

Decepticons
- Megatron

- Starscream

- Soundwave

The underwear is made from a quick-drying and highly elastic polyester material, making it suitable for both daily wear and for use as activewear during sports.

The collection features designs for both adults and children, with the adult-sized boxer briefs available in all six of the character designs.
A kids-sized version is also available, which comes in three different designs: Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Megatron.

Each pair of underwear comes in a special, collectible package that is designed to be displayed.

The new collection offers a unique and stylish way for fans of all ages to celebrate the long history of the classic franchise.
The adult sizes are priced at ¥2,800 (approx. $19 USD/£14 GBP), and the kids’ sizes are priced at ¥2,500 (approx. $17 USD/£13 GBP).
The “HIPSHOP TRANSFORMERS Series” is now available at HIPSHOP retail stores in Japan, on the official HIPSHOP online store, and on the ZOZOTOWN e-commerce platform.
