The “ONE PIECE BASE SHOP” reveals new and exclusive Gear 5 Luffy Figuarts ZERO figure
A new, exclusive, and limited-edition figure of Monkey D. Luffy in his powerful “Gear 5” form has been announced.
The new figure is the “Figuarts ZERO [EXTRA BATTLE] Monkey D. Luffy -Gear 5 ‘Giant’- ONE PIECE BASE SHOP LIMITED COLOR Ver.”
The “Figuarts ZERO [EXTRA BATTLE]” is a line of large, non-articulated statues that are known for their massive size and their dynamic, action-packed sculpts, which often feature large effect parts.
This new, approximately 30 centimeter tall statue is a highly detailed recreation of Luffy in his “Giant” form.
It is a special, “LIMITED COLOR Ver.” that features a unique, metallic paint application that is exclusive to this release.
This highly sought-after collectible is just one of a massive lineup of over 500 different, original and exclusive products that will be sold at the new, official flagship store for the franchise, the “ONE PIECE BASE SHOP.”
This new “experiential retail facility” is a massive, 1,185-square-meter store that will occupy the entire fourth floor of the Shinjuku Marui Main Building in Tokyo.
The store is designed to be a “new holy land” for all fans of the series, with an interior that evokes the various islands from the story and a variety of unique, hands-on experiences.
These include a “ONE PIECE ORIGINAL T-SHIRT PRINT” corner, where customers can create their own custom T-shirt, and a “ONE PIECE DECORATION STAND,” where they can create their own original accessories.
The “Figuarts ZERO [EXTRA BATTLE] Monkey D. Luffy -Gear 5 ‘Giant’- ONE PIECE BASE SHOP LIMITED COLOR Ver.” is priced at ¥18,700 (approx. $127 USD / £100 GBP).
It will be sold exclusively at the new “ONE PIECE BASE SHOP” store.
The “ONE PIECE BASE SHOP” is scheduled to have its grand opening on Friday, the 5th of December.
