The Chainsaw Man Reze Arc movie’s theme songs are being released as a limited-edition vinyl
To celebrate the smash-hit success of Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc and its upcoming US release, a new vinyl record of the film’s theme songs has been announced.
In its first 24 days in theaters in Japan, the movie achieved a total attendance of over 3.55 million people and surpassed ¥5.4 billion (approx. $36.5 million USD / £29 million GBP) in box office revenue.
The film has also begun its international rollout and is scheduled to be released in over 100 countries and regions.
The new analog release will feature the main theme song, “IRIS OUT” by Kenshi Yonezu, and the ending theme, “JANE DOE,” a collaboration between Kenshi Yonezu and Hikaru Utada.
The record is an import pressing and features the “IRIS OUT” jacket, which was illustrated by Kenshi Yonezu himself.
In addition to the two theme songs from the movie, the vinyl will also include the original “KICK BACK,” the opening theme from the Chainsaw Man TV anime.
It will also feature three “KICK BACK” remixes, two of which are new, from the producers Hudson Mohawke and Tomggg.
Hudson Mohawke is a Scottish DJ known for his work with artists like Kanye West, while Tomggg is a Japanese beatmaker known for his “super fun” music.
The release of this vinyl follows the record-breaking success of the main theme song, “IRIS OUT.”
Since its digital release on September 15th, the song has set new all-time records on the Japanese charts.
It achieved the highest-ever point total on the Billboard JAPAN Hot 100 (since the 2023 metric change) and became the fastest song in Oricon’s history to surpass 100 million streams, achieving the feat in just four weeks.

Pre-orders for the new vinyl record are scheduled to begin on Friday, the 24th of October, via stores such as Amazon Japan.
The record is scheduled to be released on Friday, the 27th of February, 2026.
