Studio Pierrot reveals first trailer for Black Clover Second Season
The upcoming new season of the Black Clover anime has officially been scheduled for a 2026 debut.
While the continuation of the series was previously known, the specific release window was confirmed during the Jump Festa ’26 stage event on Sunday, alongside the release of a new trailer and key visual.
Studio Pierrot will return to produce the new season, maintaining the animation duties from the original run.
Crunchyroll has confirmed that it will stream the series upon its release.
The television anime originally aired from October 2017 to March 2021, concluding with its 170th episode.
Since the television hiatus, the franchise released the animated film Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King, which debuted in theaters and on Netflix in June 2023.
Yūki Tabata’s original manga launched in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2015 before transferring to Jump Giga in 2023.
The series continues to be published digitally and in print by Viz Media and Shueisha’s MANGA Plus service.

This scheduling update joins a wealth of announcements from Jump Festa ’26.
The weekend event also confirmed that DAN DA DAN has been renewed for a third season arriving in 2027, and that the second season of Blue Box will premiere in Fall 2026.
Additionally, attendees learned that Sakamoto Days is officially in production for a second season, Mashle: Magic and Muscles will return for a third season in 2027, and My Hero Academia will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a special bonus episode.
Toei Animation also offered fans a first look at the “Reboot Project” for World Trigger, which aims to re-adapt the series from the first chapter.
