STRICT-G Launches New Gundam X 30th Anniversary Merch Collection

STRICT-G is marking the 30th anniversary of Mobile New Century Gundam X with a new collection of apparel and accessories inspired by the fan-favorite series.

The lineup includes two T-shirts, a tote bag, and a glass, each featuring designs based on the Gundam X Divider along with special 30th anniversary branding.

First broadcast in 1996, Mobile New Century Gundam X was the third installment in Gundam’s Alternative Series lineup, telling a story set outside the long-running Universal Century continuity.

The series takes place in a world left in ruins after a devastating colony drop and follows the crew of the Freeden as tensions escalate between the New Earth Federation and the Space Revolutionary Army.

Much of the story focuses on Garrod Ran’s journey, his efforts to protect Tiffa Adill, and the impact of Newtypes on the future of humanity.

Alongside mobile suits such as Gundam X and Gundam Double X, the anime became known for its memorable roster of uniquely designed mecha.

The new STRICT-G collection centers on a stylized graphic that combines the Gundam X Divider with the letter X, creating a modern icon-inspired design.

Commemorative 30th anniversary logos have also been incorporated throughout the range.

The first T-shirt, priced at ¥4,730 (approx. $32 USD/£24 GBP), features the Gundam X Divider graphic in a colorful gradient design printed on a white shirt.

A second T-shirt uses a monochrome version of the same artwork on a black shirt for a more understated look and is also priced at ¥4,730 (approx. $32 USD/£24 GBP).

Both T-shirts are made from 100 percent cotton and will be available in M, L, XL, and XXL sizes.

A new 100 percent cotton tote bag continues the monochrome theme with a clean graphic design and is priced at ¥2,750 (approx. $19 USD/£14 GBP).

A matching glass, priced at ¥2,200 (approx. $15 USD/£11 GBP) also uses the same icon-style artwork as its main visual element.

Pre-orders through the STRICT-G Online Store on Premium Bandai opened on June 18, 2026, and will remain available until June 28, with deliveries expected during July 2026.
