Stellar Blade: BLOOD RAIN Revealed as the Series’ Next Major Installment
SHIFT UP has officially unveiled Stellar Blade: BLOOD RAIN, the next entry in its action-adventure franchise.
The title is being developed internally by the same core team responsible for the original Stellar Blade experience.
According to the developer, the new game takes place within the established Stellar Blade universe while advancing the narrative beyond the conclusion of the first title.
A new central character named Evie will take over as the protagonist, leading players through the next stage of the story.
The project is also intended to broaden the scope of the setting and explore previously unseen aspects of the universe through a significantly expanded narrative direction.
Although development remains at an early stage, the studio stated that substantial progress has already been made on the project.
SHIFT UP indicated that additional information will be shared once the team is ready to reveal more of the game publicly.
The developers have emphasized their intention to build upon the elements that helped establish the original game’s popularity, including its fast-paced combat, distinctive visual style, immersive world-building, and overall gameplay identity.
At the same time, the team aims to evolve the series with new ideas and larger ambitions while remaining faithful to the qualities appreciated by existing fans.
The announcement was accompanied by a debut trailer and an initial batch of screenshots offering a first glimpse at the upcoming title.
The game will be self-published by SHIFT UP, though the company has not yet announced any target platforms or a release window.
Pricing details have also not been disclosed, and both launch timing and platform availability remain unconfirmed at this stage.
