Steel Ball Run figures are coming as prototypes revealed for Johnny Joestar and Gyro Zeppeli Nendoroids

Following a wave of major news for the upcoming anime adaptation, some of the first figures have been revealed for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 7: Steel Ball Run.

Prototype images for the “Nendoroid Johnny Joestar DX” and the “Nendoroid Gyro Zeppeli DX” have officially been shown by the companies involved in their creation.

Nendoroids are a popular line of chibi-style, posable figures created by Good Smile Company, known for including a variety of interchangeable parts.

These new products, created in conjunction with the manufacturer Medicos Entertainment, are “DX” or “Deluxe” Nendoroids, which often come with an expanded collection of additional parts or as sets of multiple figures that complete a character’s appearance as seen in the source material.

The key feature of these deluxe editions is that they will include figures of the characters’ horses.

The Johnny Joestar Nendoroid will come with his horse, Slow Dancer, whilst the Gyro Zeppeli Nendoroid will come with his horse, Valkyrie.

This merchandise reveal comes just one day after the main voice cast for the highly anticipated anime adaptation was officially announced in a special livestream.

The main cast includes Shogo Sakata as Johnny Joestar and Yohei Azakami as Gyro Zeppeli.

The anime is being produced by the acclaimed studio David Production, which has handled all of the previous seasons of the anime, and it is scheduled to be streamed exclusively on Netflix worldwide in 2026.

This flurry of new announcements has generated a massive wave of excitement for the long-awaited adaptation of the fan-favorite manga.
