Steel Ball Run anime reveals new official key visual ahead of March 2026 release

A new official key visual for the highly anticipated anime adaptation of Steel Ball Run: JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure has been unveiled.
The visual features the series’ dual protagonists, Johnny Joestar and Gyro Zeppeli.

It was created by Daisuke Tsumagari, who has been confirmed as the Character Designer and Chief Animation Director for the production.
The anime is officially scheduled to be streamed worldwide on Netflix in 2026.
This visual follows the major cast reveal made earlier this year by Warner Bros. Japan during a special livestream event.

The series will be produced by the acclaimed studio David Production, which has handled all previous seasons of the anime, with many key creative staff returning for this new project.
The main voice cast is as follows:
- Johnny Joestar: Shogo Sakata

- Gyro Zeppeli: Yohei Azakami

- Diego Brando: Kaito Ishikawa

- Lucy Steel: Rie Takahashi

- Steven Steel: Kenta Miyake

Notably, Kenta Miyake, who voices the race promoter Steven Steel, previously voiced Mohammed Avdol in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders.

Steel Ball Run is the seventh part of Hirohiko Araki’s long-running manga series.
The story is a reinvention of the franchise, set in an alternate universe in the year 1890.

It follows the story of a former genius jockey named Johnny Joestar and a mysterious outlaw named Gyro Zeppeli who wields “rotating steel balls.”

Together, they compete in the “Steel Ball Run,” a bizarre cross-country horse race across North America with a total distance of approximately 6,000km and a grand prize of 50 million dollars (6 billion yen).
