Square Enix Opens Pre-Orders for New Chrono Trigger Statues of Crono and Marle

Square Enix has begun pre-orders for brand new figures of Crono and Marle from the beloved classic role-playing game “Chrono Trigger”.
These newly revealed releases bring the iconic heroes to life as the latest additions to the “Formism” statue line.

Originally released in 1995, “Chrono Trigger” remains one of the most celebrated and influential video games in history.

The epic story follows a young boy named Crono who accidentally embarks on a time-traveling adventure after a teleportation device malfunctions at a local fair.

He is quickly joined by Marle, a rebellious princess who is eager to escape her restrictive royal duties and explore the world.

Together with a diverse cast of allies from different eras, they must journey across time to prevent an apocalyptic alien entity from destroying their planet.

The story expertly weaves together different time periods, ranging from the prehistoric past to a bleak, ruined future.

These two new statues have been carefully designed to evoke the nostalgic feeling of the original software’s iconic packaging illustration.

Both non-scale collectibles stand at approximately 17cm tall, providing fans with perfectly matched display pieces.

The design team has faithfully recreated their memorable outfits, capturing the unique art style that defined the golden age of 16-bit role-playing games:
- Formism Crono
- Price: 8,800 yen (approx. $57 USD / £45 GBP)

Crono is sculpted with his hand resting confidently on the Japanese sword at his waist, flashing a strong and heroic smile.

Marle is posed holding her signature crossbow, with the weapon’s tip planted firmly on the ground.
