Square Enix Opens Orders for Kingdom Hearts Pin Badge and Stationery Collections
Square Enix has opened pre-orders for a new range of merchandise based on the beloved action RPG series Kingdom Hearts.
This latest collection focuses on daily necessities and accessories, blending the franchise’s whimsical Disney aesthetics with practical utility for the home or office.
The lineup is headlined by a series of die-cast pins featuring the core cast of heroes who travel between worlds to fight the darkness: Sora, Donald Duck, Goofy, and King Mickey.
A pin of the Shadow, the most common variety of the enemy Heartless and a mascot for the series’ antagonists, is also available.
For stationery enthusiasts, the company is releasing new “Refill Pencil Boards” (shitajiki).
These translucent plastic sheets feature the intricate “Station of Awakening” stained glass artwork, a recurring visual motif in the series that represents the depths of a character’s heart.
The two available designs correspond to the artwork seen in Kingdom Hearts II and Kingdom Hearts Re:coded.
The collection also caters to business professionals with a selection of “stylish” office goods, including a flat pen case, a business card case, and a high-quality ballpoint pen.
These items are designed with a more subtle aesthetic suitable for professional environments, accented by metal charms shaped like the Keyblade, the series’ iconic weapon used to unlock the paths between worlds.
