Sold out Opanchu Usagi collab merch to get limited time re-release
Popular character “Opanchu Usagi”, known for its quirky and chaotic adventures, is making a triumphant return to Japanese retailer Shimamura.
A range of highly sought-after collaboration items will be restocked at Shimamura stores, offering fans a second chance to snag previously sold-out merchandise.
“Opanchu Usagi,” created by Japanese illustrator Kawaisouni!, has gained immense popularity for its expressive and often comical portrayal of a rabbit perpetually facing minor misfortunes.
This collaboration with Shimamura brings the character’s unique appeal to a variety of everyday goods, and the initial release saw many items fly off the shelves.
Now, due to popular demand, Shimamura is bringing back some of the most coveted “Opanchu Usagi” collaboration items.
The restocked lineup includes a wide array of goods, from bath essentials like body sponges and pump bottles to adorable plushie charms and convenient foldable umbrellas.
The collection features a predominantly pink color scheme with playful designs adorned with the lovable and expressive illustrations of Opanchu Usagi that have captured the hearts of fans.

The resale will start at 15:00 Japan Standard Time on Wednesday, May 21st, 2025 at Shimamura stores across Japan as well as through the Shimamura online store.
