SILENT HILL 2's Bubble Head Nurse and Abstract Daddy kick off Kotobukiya's new "OSHI WORKS" figure line

Japanese hobby manufacturer Kotobukiya has opened pre-orders for two new figures based on iconic monsters from the legendary psychological horror game, SILENT HILL 2.

The new products are the debut releases for a brand-new figure line called “OSHI WORKS.”

“OSHI WORKS” is a new brand that is built around the concept of creating figures of fans’ “oshi” (favorite) characters that are both affordable, easy to collect, and fun.

Each figure in the series comes with a standardized square base that makes it easy to display the collection together, and despite the wallet-friendly price, the brand promises to maintain Kotobukiya’s legendary high quality and crisp paintwork.

The first two characters to be released in this new series are two of the most famous and unsettling creatures from the game: the Bubble Head Nurse and the Abstract Daddy.

Both of the new figures are 1/7 scale, pre-painted, non-articulated statues, and each comes with a special, dedicated display base that features the game’s logo and the character’s name.

The “OSHI WORKS – Bubble Head Nurse” is designed to be a faithful recreation of the terrifying monster, while also capturing its “stylish” proportions and iconic nurse outfit.

The “OSHI WORKS – Abstract Daddy” is a detailed sculpt that brings the creature’s grotesque and eerie form to life.

Each of the two new figures is priced at ¥8,800 (approx. $60 USD / £48 GBP).

A “guaranteed pre-order” period is currently running for both of the figures.

Customers who place an order via the official Kotobukiya online store before the 18th of November are guaranteed to receive the item, after which pre-orders will close once the production limit is reached.

Both of the new figures are scheduled to be released in May 2026.
