7-Eleven to release exclusive Gunpla kit as part of new Gundam collab
Seven-Eleven Japan has announced their latest collaboration campaign with the “Gundam” series.
This new campaign will offer a range of exclusive merchandise and special offers for fans of the iconic Japanese franchise.
The campaign’s launch coincides with the ongoing broadcast of the latest installment in the Gundam universe, “Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX”, which began airing on Japanese television on Tuesday, April 8th, and while Bandai Namco is hosting a Gundam themed pavilion at the 2025 World Expo in Osaka.
The highlight of the collaboration campaign is a new Gunpla kit of “Gunpla-kun”, a chibi version of the original RX-78-2 Gundam, in Seven-Eleven themed colors.
A Gunpla kit, short for “Gundam Plastic Model”, is a model kit that features snap-fit assembly and color-molded parts.
As well as the new gunpla kit, the Seven-Eleven “Gundam” campaign will offer fans free gifts depending on the goods they purchase.

Free “Gundam Original Box” with Fried Food
From Saturday, May 10th, 2025, to Monday, May 26th, 2025 (or while supplies last), customers who purchase four fried food items or frankfurters at once from the counter case will receive a complimentary “Gundam Original Box”.
This offer applies to any combination of the eligible items.
It is important to note that the availability of these items may vary by store, and some stores may not carry them.
Additionally, some packs of fried food which contain multiple pieces, such as packs of fried chicken (karaage and/or zangi), takoyaki, sweet potato balls, cheese balls and potato croquettes, count as 1 qualifying item for this promotion (e.g. you can buy 4 packs of chicken kaarage to qualify).
Exclusive “Gundam Original Food Clips (7 types)” with Morinaga Candy
From Thursday, May 8th, 2025, at 7:00 AM to Wednesday, May 21st, 2025, customers who buy three of the eligible Morinaga Hi-Chew or Ramune candies (from a selection of 16 varieties) in a single transaction will receive one random original food clip.
Each store will have a limited stock of 14 food clips, with 2 of each of the 7 designs available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Exclusive “Gundam Original Pin Badges (7 types)” with Monster Energy
From Tuesday, May 13th, 2025, at 7:00 AM to Monday, May 26th, 2025, purchasing two of the designated Monster Energy drinks (from a selection of 5 types) at once will grant customers one random original pin badge.
Similar to the food clips, each store will have a limited quantity of 14 pin badges, with 2 of each of the 7 designs available while supplies last.
Exclusive “Gundam Original Clear Sheets (5 types)” with Morinaga Jelly
From Thursday, May 15th, 2025, at 7:00 AM to Wednesday, May 28th, 2025, customers who purchase two of the eligible Morinaga jelly pouches (from a selection of 10 varieties) in one transaction will receive one original clear sheet.
Each store will have 20 clear sheets available, with 4 of each of the 5 designs offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Exclusive “Gundam Original Clear Stands (4 types)” with Cup Noodles
Also starting Thursday, May 15th, 2025, at 7:00 AM and running until Wednesday, May 28th, 2025 (or while supplies last), the purchase of two eligible cup noodles (from a selection of six varieties) in a single transaction will entitle customers to one free original clear stand.
Each store will have a limited stock of 20 clear stands, with 5 of each of the 4 designs available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Exclusive “Gundam Original A5 Notebooks (5 types)” with Ice Cream
Coinciding with the clear sheets and stands, from Thursday, May 15th, 2025, at 7:00 AM to Wednesday, May 28th, 2025 (or while supplies last), customers who purchase two of the eligible ice cream products (from a selection of four varieties) at once will receive an original A5 notebook as a gift.
Each store will have a limited quantity of 20 notebooks, with 4 of each of the 5 designs available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The exact qualifying products for the pin badges, clear stands, clear sheets and A5 notebooks have not yet been announced but are expected to be confirmed by Seven-Eleven closer to the start date of each giveaway.
Seven-Eleven Exclusive “Gunpla Kun” Limited Edition Model Kit
This exclusive color variant of the Gunpla-kun plastic model kit will be available starting Friday, May 9th, 2025, while supplies last.
Priced at 880 yen (including tax), this kit includes the main Gunpla-kun figure along with familiar weapon parts such as a beam rifle, beam saber, and shield.
This limited edition model kit will be available at Seven-Eleven stores nationwide.
The campaign is set to roll out at Seven-Eleven convenience stores across Japan starting from Thursday, May 8th, 2025.
