RuneScape: Dragonwilds Set for September 15 Launch on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC

Jagex has announced that the open world survival crafting game RuneScape: Dragonwilds will officially leave Early Access and launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC on September 15, 2026.
The upcoming release will be available on PC via both Steam and the Epic Games Store, while the PlayStation 5 version is set to join the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog.
While the PC version first entered Early Access on April 15, 2025, the Xbox Series version was revealed for the first time on June 5, 2026.
Executive producer Jesse America stated that the 1.0 milestone reflects over a year of player feedback and significant development since the initial Early Access debut.
Set on the undiscovered and magic rich continent of Ashenfall, the game allows players to explore a hand crafted world that blends traditional RuneScape lore with high fantasy elements.
Players must grind skills, prepare potions, and craft gear to survive encounters with legendary creatures such as Zogres, Black Knights, and the new Garou species.
The ultimate objective of the journey involves uncovering the mysteries of the fractured lands to eventually challenge the formidable Dragon Queen.
Survival in this environment requires the use of sorcery to perform tasks like felling trees with spectral axes or exploding ore veins with magic.
The title also features a re-orchestrated soundtrack of classic RuneScape music alongside several hours of brand new compositions created specifically for this adventure.
This announcement was made during the Summer Game Fest 2026 event where a new trailer showcasing the 1.0 gameplay was also premiered.
