Pre-registration opens for new RPG based on iconic comedy anime series Gintama

A new mobile game has been announced based on the hilarious and action-packed world of Gintama.
SEGA officially revealed “Gintama: Smartphone Battle Chronicle,” a new RPG set for release on iOS and Android devices.

Gintama is a legendary and long-running comedy and action series known for its irreverent humor, memorable characters, and dramatic story arcs that parody shonen manga.
The new game will be free-to-play (with in-app purchases), allowing players to immerse themselves in the series’ setting of Kabukicho and re-experience famous scenes from the series, promising to deliver Gintama’s unique blend of chaotic comedy and intense battles to smartphones.

The game is being developed by NextNinja, and is a joint project planned and produced by SEGA and Bandai Namco Pictures.
Pre-registration for the game has now officially begun.

A campaign is active that will grant all players increasingly luxurious rewards as pre-registration milestones are met.
If the campaign reaches 300,000 pre-registrations, all players will receive “Ginsho” (Silver Crystals) equivalent to a total of 60 gacha pulls, as well as an “SSR [Gale Samurai] Gintoki Sakata ☆1” character.

These rewards will be distributed to all users when the game officially launches.
An additional promotional campaign is also active on the game’s official X account.
Fans who follow the account and repost the target post by November 16 will be entered into a lottery to win one of three exclusive, not-for-sale, original clear files.

Pre-registration is now open by following the game’s official X account, adding the official LINE account, or subscribing to the official YouTube channel.
