Pre-Orders Open for New Kasane Teto VOICEPEAK Nendoroid
Good Smile Company has begun pre-orders for a brand new Nendoroid figure of the virtual idol Kasane Teto.
This newly revealed release perfectly translates the iconic character’s updated digital design into a highly poseable, palm-sized format.
Originally conceived as a viral April Fool’s Day joke by an online community in 2008, Kasane Teto was initially pitched as a fake vocal synthesizer.
However, she quickly evolved into a genuine internet sensation and a beloved mascot within the vocal synthesis fandom.
Her enduring popularity eventually led to her official integration into the “VOICEPEAK” text-to-speech software.
This new figure specifically captures her stylish appearance from that modern voice software package.
The popular Nendoroid line is famous for shrinking popular characters down into cute chibi proportions while retaining all of their recognizable details.
Standing at approximately 10cm tall, this non-scale collectible offers fans a fantastic and highly customizable display piece.
The design team has carefully recreated her signature red twin drills and incredibly detailed uniform.
Fans can easily swap between three included face plates to change her expression on the fly.
These interchangeable face options include a cheerful “High” face, a more subdued “Low” face, and a soft “Whisper” face.
A miniature transceiver radio is also provided as an optional accessory to help recreate different recording scenarios.
