Pokémon TCG Pocket’s “Extradimensional Crisis” cards revealed before they arrive on May 29th

The Pokémon Company has announced that its smartphone-based card game, “Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket”, will receive a brand-new theme expansion pack called “Extradimensional Crisis” on May 29th, 2025.
This exciting update will introduce the formidable Ultra Beasts to the mobile game, promising to shake up strategies and expand collection possibilities.

“Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket,” known as “Poké Poké” in Japan, is available as a free-to-play title with in-app purchases, and brings the beloved Pokémon TCG experience to mobile devices, allowing players to enjoy collecting and battling on the go.

The introduction of Ultra Beasts marks a significant expansion, drawing directly from the popular “Pokémon Sun,” “Pokémon Moon,” “Pokémon Ultra Sun,” and “Pokémon Ultra Moon” video games, where these mysterious and powerful creatures from other dimensions first appeared.

The “Extradimensional Crisis” pack will heavily feature these alien Pokémon, known for their unique designs and formidable power.

Revealed cards include:
- Buzzwole ex
- Nihilego
- Guzzlord ex
- Celesteela
- Pheromosa
- Kartana
- Xurkitree
- Naganadel
- Stakataka
- Blacephalon

Beyond the Ultra Beasts themselves, the pack will also introduce other fan-favorite Pokémon and crucial support cards.

Players can look forward to seeing Tapu Koko ex, Type: Null, Alolan Diglett, Zeraora, Shiinotic, and Rowlet among the new additions.

Adding strategic depth, an image strongly suggesting a Super Rare (SR) version of Lusamine, a key character with strong ties to the Ultra Beasts, has also been revealed, hinting at powerful synergies.

To celebrate the launch of “Extradimensional Crisis,” “Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket” will roll out a series of events focused on the Ultra Beasts.
Players can anticipate:
- New collection files and collection boards to showcase their new pulls.

- A drop event where trainers can earn the powerful Ultra Necrozma ex.

- Get Challenges offering opportunities to acquire promo cards for Pokémon like Poipole and Stufful.

These events provide ample opportunities for players to dive into the new content, collect new cards, and strengthen their decks.
