Takara Tomy has revealed a new wave of official Pokémon figures based on the unique character designs from Pokémon Pokopia, including some of the most popular forms and variants created specifically for the Nintendo Switch 2 game.

The first four additions to the MONCOLLE range feature Ditto in its human form, the pale Pikachu seen in the game, Ditto transformed into Dragonite, and Professor Tangrowth.

Pokémon Pokopia launched for Nintendo Switch 2 in March 2026 as the franchise’s first life simulation game, placing players in control of a Ditto that has transformed into a human and awakened in a largely deserted world.

Instead of focusing on traditional Pokémon battles, the game revolves around gathering materials, crafting furniture, growing plants, and gradually rebuilding the environment into towns where more Pokémon can live.

Ditto can also learn moves from the Pokémon it meets and use those abilities to interact with the environment, including growing plants with Bulbasaur’s Leafage, watering crops with Squirtle’s Water Gun and transforming into Pokémon capable of reaching otherwise inaccessible areas.

Each of the new MONCOLLE figures stands approximately 4 cm tall, keeping the unusual Pokopia designs at a compact size that also makes them compatible with the accompanying town playset.

The new “Ditto (Human Form with Cap)” figure recreates the game’s protagonist after transforming into a human, complete with their unusual rounded appearance, simple features, and cap seen throughout the adventure.

“Pikachu (Pale)” recreates the strange Pikachu known as Peakychu in the English version of the game, replacing the character’s familiar bright yellow appearance with much paler fur and noticeably drooping ears.

“Ditto (Dragonite Form)” features Ditto after copying Dragonite and captures the combination of Dragonite’s shape with Ditto’s unmistakable expression, with this particular form allowing the protagonist to travel long distances through the sky within the game.

“Professor Tangrowth” rounds out the opening wave with another design created specifically for Pokémon Pokopia, featuring sections of white coloring and the unusual human-made-looking object worn around its head.

Takara Tomy has already confirmed that the Pokémon Pokopia MONCOLLE range will continue beyond the first four figures, with Ditto (Lapras Form) and Mosslax planned as the next additions.

“Ditto (Lapras Form)” follows the same idea as its Dragonite counterpart by combining Lapras’ body with Ditto’s recognizable face, reflecting another transformation used to explore the world of Pokopia.

“Mosslax” recreates the unusual Snorlax covered in moss and plant growth that players encounter during the game, giving another Pokopia-specific variation its own MONCOLLE release.

The new figures are being joined by a much larger playset designed to recreate Pokémon Pokopia’s town-building mechanics away from the Switch 2.

The “Let’s Build! Everyone’s Town” playset provides a customizable environment made from different terrain sections representing grasslands, rocky areas, cliffs, beaches and the ocean.

A Pokémon Center, crafting table and Berry trees can be placed throughout the town alongside smaller pieces including wooden tables and chairs, beach chairs, stairs and fences.

The main play area uses square slots that can be filled with interchangeable graphic tiles, allowing different sections to become grassy areas, flower fields or farmland depending on how the pieces are arranged.

Included tiles depict grass, flowers, tomatoes and wheat, while the set also comes with three Pinap Berries, two grass tiles and two flower tiles among its smaller accessories.

That modular setup closely mirrors Pokopia’s core loop of slowly developing empty land into a functioning Pokémon community, letting the layout be reorganized rather than restricting the set to one fixed town design.

The playset also includes its own Ditto figure transformed into a human and wearing a rounded hat, meaning it can be used on its own without requiring one of the separately sold MONCOLLE releases.

Existing MONCOLLE figures can be added throughout the environment as well, allowing the population of the town to include other Pokémon not included in the new Pokopia MONCOLLE collection.

The Ditto (Human Form with Cap), Pikachu (Pale), Ditto (Dragonite Form) and Professor Tangrowth MONCOLLE figures are each priced at ¥715 (approx. $4.50 USD / £3.30 GBP), with Ditto (Lapras Form) and Mosslax set to carry the same price when they are released in October.

Ditto (Lapras Form) and Mosslax will follow on October 1, 2026.
