Pokémon collaborates with “Opanchu Usagi” creator for new messaging app stickers

A new set of official LINE stickers has been released, featuring a collaboration between the Pokémon franchise and the popular creator, Kawaisouni!.
Kawaisouni! is an artist and creator who has gained a massive following, particularly among a younger audience, for their unique and charming character creations, such as “Opanchu Usagi” and “Npochamu.”

Their art style is known for its distinctive and somewhat surreal worldview.
This new collaboration brings that unique artistic vision to the world of Pokémon.
The sticker set is titled “Pokémon! x Kawaisouni! Muchi-tto Stamp,” with “muchi-tto” being a word that describes a chubby or squishy appearance.

The set includes a total of 24 different animated stickers.
The artwork features a variety of famous Pokémon, including Pikachu, Piplup, Dragonite, and Wailmer, all redrawn in Kawaisouni!’s signature, soft and chubby art style.
This release offers fans the chance to use a new and unique artistic interpretation of the classic characters while messaging friends.
The new LINE sticker set is priced at ¥250 (approx. $1.70 USD/£1.25 GBP).
