Pikachu teams up with ramen chain Ippudo to celebrate new Fukuoka Pokémon Center

Following the announcement of its grand opening, Pokémon Center Fukuoka has revealed a range of exclusive merchandise created in collaboration with famous Fukuoka-based businesses.
These exclusive items celebrate the local culture and culinary traditions of the Fukuoka region, offering unique items that blend the charm of Pokémon with the distinct flavors and craftsmanship of Fukuoka.

As previously reported, Pokémon Center Fukuoka has closed and will reopen in the new location later this year.

To celebrate their new, larger, store in Fukuoka, Pokémon Center has launched a collaboration with several iconic business from the area.
Among the most anticipated collaborations is one with Ippudo, a ramen restaurant chain that originated in Fukuoka that now has branches across Japan and internationally in cities across Asia, America and Europe.

This partnership has resulted in a selection of high-quality, co-branded merchandise that allows Pokémon fans to enjoy Ippudo with a Pokémon twist.
The collaboration features authentic Arita ware ramen bowls, the same style as those used in Ippudo’s actual restaurants, with charming designs of Pikachu dressed as a ramen shop owner alongside the legendary Pokémon Latias and Latios.

For those wanting to savor the taste of Ippudo at home, a “2-meal set of Ippudo Silken Tonkotsu Ramen Shiromaru Genmi and Akamaru Shinmi” will also be available.
Completing the culinary-themed offerings are chopsticks and chopstick rest sets, as well as rice spoons, all bearing the collaborative branding.
