Pikachu and Eevee Star in Pokémon’s New Official Handbag Collab Collection

New York handbag brand VASIC has revealed a special Pokémon collection that blends its minimalist style with some of the franchise’s most recognizable characters across a range of bags and everyday accessories.
Pokémon has remained one of the world’s biggest entertainment franchises for decades, with characters such as Pikachu, Eevee, Snorlax and Ditto continuing to appeal to fans of all ages through games, animation, trading cards and merchandise.

The collection is centered around VASIC’s signature Bond series, reimagined with subtle Pokémon-inspired details rather than bold all-over graphics, making the designs suitable for both everyday use and dedicated fans.

The Bond Mini, priced at ¥55,000 (approx. $370 USD / £275 GBP), features artwork of Pikachu and Eevee on VASIC’s iconic bucket bag, with an adjustable handle that allows it to be carried as either a handbag or shoulder bag while still offering enough room for daily essentials, including a long wallet.

The Bond Mini Mini, priced at ¥49,500 (approx. $335 USD / £248 GBP), delivers a more compact version of the Bond design, with a versatile strap that allows it to be worn as either a shoulder bag or carried as a handbag.

The Pochette Mini, priced at ¥39,600 (approx. $268 USD / £198 GBP), is a slim crossbody bag embossed with Pikachu, Eevee, Ditto and Snorlax, while a three-dimensional Pikachu zipper pull adds a playful finishing touch.

The Multi Zip Case, priced at ¥30,800 (approx. $209 USD / £154 GBP), functions as a compact wallet and card holder, combining printed Pikachu and Eevee artwork with three internal compartments and a Pikachu zipper charm.

The Charm, priced at ¥14,300 (approx. $97 USD / £71 GBP), is available in Pikachu, Pikachu Face, Eevee, Snorlax and Ditto versions, with every design featuring a Poké Ball-themed charm attachment.

The Carabiner, priced at ¥6,600 (approx. $45 USD / £33 GBP), recreates Pikachu’s face as a functional accessory that can be attached to bag handles or shoulder straps for an extra Pokémon-inspired accent.

The collection will first launch through a limited shop at Hankyu Umeda Main Store beginning August 5 before expanding to a pop-up store at Isetan Shinjuku from August 12.
VASIC will then release the collection through its main retail stores within Japan, their official online store and additional pop-up locations including JR Nagoya Takashimaya, GINZA SIX and Kyoto Takashimaya from August 19.
