PG UNLEASHED 1/60 ν/Nu Gundam revealed for Gunpla's 45th anniversary

BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division has finally unveiled detailed information for their highly anticipated new Gunpla kit: the PERFECT GRADE UNLEASHED 1/60 ν Gundam (Nu Gundam).

This monumental release commemorates the 45th anniversary of Gunpla and brings the iconic ν Gundam, also commonly referred to as the Nu Gundam, from “Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack” to life in an unprecedented 1/60 scale within the pinnacle of the Gunpla brand, PERFECT GRADE UNLEASHED.

Marking the first-ever 1/60 scale rendition of the ν Gundam, this kit aims to push the boundaries of Gunpla engineering by meticulously recreating its internal structure to an extreme degree.

Builders will experience the “construction” of a real mobile suit as they assemble each part of this incredibly detailed and structurally sound model.

The signature Fin Funnels, a significant undertaking at this large scale, will feature sliding and rotating articulation to replicate three distinct deployment modes while ensuring stability.

A dedicated attachment part for the support pillar of the included custom base will allow for secure and dynamic display of the ν Gundam equipped with its Fin Funnels.

In terms of armaments, the kit will include a beam rifle and shield with internal sliding and deployment gimmicks, two beam sabers with different blade specifications including a curved type, and the memorable New Hyper Bazooka.

Adding a unique touch, the kit will also come with a support arm for the New Hyper Bazooka based on an original interpretation.

The PERFECT GRADE UNLEASHED 1/60 ν Gundam will be priced at ¥66,000 (tax included, approx $453.57 USD/£341.48 GBP) and is scheduled for release at general retail stores across Japan in January 2026.

Additionally, a separate dedicated LED unit is also planned for release. Details regarding this optional enhancement will be unveiled in June.

This PG UNLEASHED ν Gundam promises to be a definitive addition to any Gunpla collection, offering an unparalleled level of detail and a true “building experience” for fans of “Char’s Counterattack” and the legendary ν Gundam.
