Pepsi Japan to release new Demon Slayer bottles based on the series most iconic fights

Pepsi will soon be releasing special “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” themed bottles for some of their most popular drinks.

Starting in mid-June 2025, a special line of “Battle Bottles” featuring iconic characters and confrontations from the anime will be released in stores across Japan.

“Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba,” based on the best-selling manga by Koyoharu Gotouge, has become a cultural phenomenon worldwide.

With over 150 million copies sold, the series follows the journey of Tanjiro Kamado, a young boy who joins the Demon Slayer Corps to avenge his family’s murder and find a cure for his sister Nezuko, who has been turned into a demon.

The “Battle Bottles” collaboration will showcase famous battle scenes and rivalries between the Demon Slayer Corps and formidable demons from the anime across Pepsi BIG ZERO and Pepsi BIG ZERO LEMON bottles.

Pepsi’s local distributor Suntory will also be including some of their popular drinks such as C.C. Lemon, Dekavita C and POP Melon Soda.

A total of 14 unique “Battle Bottles” will be available, featuring pairings such as the Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku facing off against the Upper Rank Three demon Akaza.

The complete list of drinks taking part in this collaboration includes:

  • C.C. Lemon
  • Super Sour C.C. Lemon
  • Dekavita C God Charge
  • POP Melon Soda
  • Nacchan Apple
  • Pepsi Draft BIG ZERO
  • Pepsi Draft BIG ZERO LEMON

In a creative twist, Pepsi and Suntory will also partially rearrange the brand logos on the packaging of these collaboration bottles.

This special project will integrate motifs inspired by the characters’ Breathing Styles (unique combat techniques used by Demon Slayers) and Blood Demon Arts (supernatural abilities wielded by demons) into the familiar logos of these popular drinks.

Suntory will also launch a collaboration campaign featuring original “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” merchandise starting on June 16th, 2025.

While details of the prizes have yet to be announced, Suntory have advised that exciting original merchandise that will be up for grabs.

This new collab with Pepsi is the latest collaboration between Demon Slayer and a major brand, with previous collaborations seeing Demon Slayer themed items in takoyaki restaurants, themed mocktails, Demon Slayer hotel rooms, hand-crafted watches and an amusement park takeover.
