Orders are now open for a giant new one meter tall Tamagotchi plush

Fans of Tamagotchi are in for a huge treat as Bandai Namco Nui has opened pre-orders for an enormous new plush toy.
The “PuriNui Super BIG Mametchi” plush toy brings the Tamagotchi character Mametchi to life in a scale previously unimagined.

Mametchi is arguably the most recognizable and iconic character from the Tamagotchi series, which first debuted in 1996.
Known for his cheerful demeanor, Mametchi serves as the primary mascot of the franchise and is often considered the “good” evolution of the digital pet, representing a well-nurtured Tamagotchi.

His distinctive design, featuring a round body, large eyes, and two antennae-like ears, has made him instantly recognizable to generations of fans around the world.
The “PuriNui Super BIG Mametchi” lives up to its name as it stands at around one meter (over 3 feet) tall and weighs approximately 6.4 kilograms (about 14.1 pounds).

Its size makes it ideal for hugging, lounging, or even serving as a unique decorative piece within a room.
The sheer scale of the plush is designed to evoke a strong sense of nostalgia and delight, allowing fans to physically interact with their virtual companion in an entirely new way.

The impressive size does come with an equally impressive price tag.
The “PuriNui Super BIG Mametchi” is priced at 66,000 yen (approx. $459 USD / £336 GBP).

This premium pricing positions the plush as a high-end collectible aimed at fans and collectors who are willing to invest in a unique piece of Tamagotchi memorabilia.
Bandai Namco Nui is now accepting pre-orders for the plush and guarantees that all orders placed by 23:59 JST on July 29, 2025, will be fulfilled.

This ensures that fans who commit to the purchase within the pre-order window will receive their oversized Mametchi.
Shipping for pre-orders is scheduled for late November 2025, just in time for the holiday season for many international customers.
The release of this huge Tamagotchi plush comes at a time when Bandai Namco has been giving increased attention to the classic virtual pet toy.

They have released an updated full-color version called “Tamagotchi Paradise” and are partnering with other brands, such as Nanoblock, Snoopy, and the Osaka Expo 2025, to produce collaborative merchandise.
