Orders open for new statue of David from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners
Prime 1 Studio, under its high-end PRIME 1 STATUE brand, has revealed a stunning 1/4 scale polystone statue of David Martinez from “Cyberpunk: Edgerunners”.
“Cyberpunk: Edgerunners” is a standalone anime series set within the universe of CD Projekt Red’s video game “Cyberpunk 2077.”
The anime, produced by Studio Trigger, premiered in 2022 and quickly garnered widespread praise for its compelling narrative, dynamic animation style, and faithful adaptation of the cyberpunk setting.
The story follows David Martinez, a street kid trying to survive in the dystopian metropolis of Night City, who becomes an edgerunner – a high-tech mercenary outlaw – after a personal tragedy.
This “Real Elite Masterline” statue reimagines David Martinez in a style that blends the distinct aesthetic of the “Cyberpunk: Edgerunners” anime with the detailed realism of the “Cyberpunk 2077” game’s CG visuals.
Standing at an impressive 58cm in height, the 1/4 scale figure captures David’s determined spirit as he navigates the treacherous underbelly of Night City.
The figure showcases David’s signature side-shaved hairstyle, his expression conveying both ambition and a hint of youthful purity, and his iconic yellow jacket, a poignant memento from his mother.
The special base of the statue is inspired by the legendary Afterlife bar – a significant location within the “Cyberpunk” lore.
The base features LED-illuminated neon lights, grime-covered stickers, and crushed empty cans rendered with reflective paint, creating a finish that embodies the gritty, nocturnal ambiance of Night City.
The Deluxe Bonus Edition of the statue, available exclusively through the Prime 1 Studio online store in Japan with a limited quantity of 500 units, includes a variety of interchangeable parts for enhanced display options.
These include three head sculpts (straight face, open mouth, and smiling face), three left arm and pocket configurations (pocket, gun facing up, and gun horizontal), and David’s submachine gun, the “DS1 Pulsar”, along with two stands to display the alternate heads on their own.
This version also comes with a bonus part, the powerful power assault rifle “Kyubi”, which provides additional display options.
The statue is crafted from high-quality polystone, with some parts utilizing other materials to achieve intricate details.
It weighs a substantial 14.5kg, due to its size and the quality of materials used.
Priced at ¥201,190 (tax included), this premium collectible is a must-have for fans of “Cyberpunk: Edgerunners” and collectors of high-end anime statues.
