The daily ritual of shaving and the world of giant robot battles have merged in an unexpected new collaboration.

The Chinese grooming brand Yoose has partnered with the iconic anime franchise, Mobile Suit Gundam, to create a high-performance electric shaver that replicates details of the original RX-78-2 Gundam.

Yoose has a history of collaborating with major Japanese pop culture brands like Pokémon and Evangelion, but this new partnership takes the concept of a themed electronic device to a new level of detail.

The shaver is designed to be a collectible item that could be mistaken for a high-end model kit.

Its body is finished in the Gundam’s signature red, white, and blue color scheme, and is covered in intricate panel lines and Earth Federation Space Force (E.F.S.F.) insignias.

The design also features sculpted, three-dimensional elements, including a small model of the Gundam’s head and backpack, making it a faithful recreation of the classic mecha.

Even the accessories are deeply themed, with the cleaning brush shaped like a Beam Saber and the protective travel case designed to look exactly like the Gundam’s iconic shield.

Beneath the collector-focused exterior, the device is a powerful and modern grooming tool.

It is equipped with a magnetic levitation linear motor that operates at 14,000 RPM and features a five-foil wide blade head.

The shaver is also IPX7 waterproof, charges via a standard USB-C port, and has a battery life of up to 90 minutes.

This release successfully balances its dual identity as both a serious piece of hardware and a high-end, “Master Grade-level” collectible for fans.
