A new line of merchandise centered around Pokémon that inhabit caves will soon be released at physical Pokémon Center stores across Japan and online.

The “Cave Dweller” merchandise collection draws inspiration from the wide range of Pokémon who make their home in caves, tunnels and other underground spaces.

It offers a wide range of items from interactive plush toys, to nostalgic activity kits, and everyday essentials.

Caves in the Pokémon universe are often depicted as mysterious locations teeming with unique Pokémon, hidden treasures, and the remnants of ancient times, making them a popular and intriguing part of the game lore.

A highlight of the new collection is the innovative “Kurunto Evolution Plush Toy”, featuring the Rock-type Pokémon Geodude and its evolutions.

This plush toy cleverly transforms from Geodude to Graveler and finally to Golem through a reversible design activated by opening a zipper and turning the plush inside out.

Another notable item is the “Magnetic Clip Holder”, featuring the Rock-type Pokémon Onix.

This practical item incorporates a magnet in the Pokémon’s head, making it a useful and decorative way to hold clips and notes.

For fans who enjoyed the “Fossil Digging” mini-game from the beloved “Pokémon Diamond and Pearl” titles, the “Fossil Excavation Kit” offers a real-world experience of uncovering ancient Pokémon.

This kit allows users to dig through a material to unearth Pokémon fossils and other in-game items, adding a hands-on element of discovery and nostalgia for a classic Pokémon game feature.

Fossil Pokémon are a unique subset of Pokémon that can only be obtained by reviving fossils found throughout the game world.

The popularity of Fossil Pokémon has resulted in a travelling museum exhibition in Japan displaying replica Pokémon fossils, which was recently announced as making its international debut when it heads to Chicago next year.
