New Persona 5 craft cola is inspired by the game’s Mementos dungeons

A new collaboration has been announced, which will see the release of an official cola for the popular RPG “Persona 5 Royal”.
The Persona 5 cola is the latest release from “Chara Syrup,” a brand that creates original craft syrups themed around various popular anime and game titles.

The brand’s previous releases include a popular, herbal “Maomao Cola,” which was based on the hit series The Apothecary Diaries.

This latest product is the “Mementos Cola,” an original blend of craft cola syrup inspired by the game’s massive, collective unconscious dungeon, Mementos.

While a typical craft cola is made with around ten different ingredients, the “Mementos Cola” uses a blend of fifteen different, specially selected materials, centered on star anise, to represent the complex, multi-layered world of the dungeon and the “Trickster” nature of the protagonist.

As a cola syrup, the product is a concentrate that can be mixed with carbonated water to create a standard cola, or can be used in a variety of other ways.

The bottle for the syrup features a clear label with an illustration of the protagonist’s Phantom Thief form, Joker, and has a special indentation on the bottom that allows it to be stacked for display.

A side collection of bar-themed merchandise is also being released to complement the cola.

This includes a large, professional-style rubber bar counter mat and a rock glass featuring an illustration of Joker.

The lineup is as follows:
- Original Blend Cola “Mementos Cola”: ¥2,980 (approx. $20 USD/£15 GBP)

- Bar Counter Mat: ¥7,800 (approx. $53 USD/£39 GBP)

- Rock Glass: ¥1,650 (approx. $11 USD/£8 GBP)

The new collection is being sold on a made-to-order pre-order basis and the pre-order period is scheduled to run until 11:59 PM Japan Standard Time on Tuesday, the 14th of October, 2025, via the official Chara Syrup website.

The Persona 5 cola and accessories are scheduled to be shipped to customers starting from mid-December.
