New perfumes celebrate 10 years of the Assassination Classroom anime
The 10th anniversary of Assassination Classroom is being celebrated with a new range of perfumes!
The new perfumes has been created by Fairy Tail Parfum, a perfumier known for creating perfumes inspired by TV anime and manga characters.
Previous anime collaborations from Fairy Tail Parfum have included Kakegurui, Mob Psycho 100 and Sakamoto Days.
The new Assassination Classroom perfumes are based on Koro-sensei and 4 of the students from Class 3-E and celebrate 10th years since the first season of the anime aired on Japanese TV.
Assassination Classroom was a manga written by Matsui Yusei that was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump between 2012 and 2016.
The first season TV anime adaptation was aired between January and June 2015 while the second season aired between January and June 2016.
Koro-sensei Perfume
This strawberry champagne perfume is inspired by Koro-sensei and seeks to evoke his overwhelming power.
- Top note: strawberry, muscat, cassis
- Middle note: rose, champagne
- Last note: white musk
Karasuma Tadaomi Perfume
This perfume is inspired by Karasuma Tadaomi, a member of the Ministry of Defense’s Temporary Special Task Force.
The scent aims to reflect Karasuma’s serious, hardworking, and strict character.
- Top notes: citrus, jasmine, bergamot
- Middle notes: mandarin orange, apricot, lavender
- Last notes: white musk, sandalwood
Kaede Kayano Perfume
This soft and pleasant aquatic inspired fragrance is inspired by Kaede and her cheerful nature.
- Top notes: peony, bergamot, cotton
- Middle notes: aquatic accord, marine accord, jasmine
- Last notes: patchouli, white musk
Karma Akabane Perfume
This perfume is based on Karma and is inspired by his carefree attitude and hidden kindness.
- Top notes: mandarin orange, bergamot, petitgrain, grapefruit, lemon
- Middle notes: nutmeg, mate tea
- Last notes: birch, musk
Nagisa Shota Perfume
The final perfume is based on Nagisa Shota and was inspired by his quiet, gentle personality, his talent for assassination and admiration for Koro-sensei.
- Top notes: orange, lemon, bergamot, grapefruit
- Middle notes: coriander, cardamom, patchouli, pepper
- Last notes: vetiver, sandalwood
Each individual 50ml bottle of perfume will be priced at 4,950 yen (approx. $33.96 USD/£25.59 GBP).
