New One Piece action figure captures Luffy during the “Battle of Marineford”

A new action figure of Monkey D. Luffy from One Piece has been announced by Bandai Spirits.
The new product is part of the “S.H.Figuarts” line and is based on his appearance during the “Battle of Marineford.”

S.H.Figuarts is a collector-focused line of premium action figures, known for a high degree of articulation that allows for a wide range of dynamic posing.

The “Marineford Summit War” is one of the most pivotal and tragic story arcs in the entire One Piece saga, a massive war that results in a profound loss for Luffy and serves as a major turning point in his journey as a pirate.

This new figure is designed with an advanced articulation system and utilizes soft, flexible parts to allow for the recreation of the dynamic action scenes from that storyline.

A key feature of the figure is its set of interchangeable parts, which are designed to capture the intense emotions of the arc.
The approximately 145mm tall figure includes three different expression parts, one of which is a “crying face” that allows fans to replicate some of the story’s most memorable and heartbreaking moments.

Two pairs of interchangeable hands are also included, as well as his signature straw hat with its neck string attached.

This release offers collectors a new figure of the iconic hero based on an important story arc.
The “S.H.Figuarts Monkey D. Luffy -The Battle of Marineford-” is priced at ¥4,400 (approx. $30 USD/£22 GBP).
Pre-orders for the figure are scheduled to open at general retail stores on Thursday, the 28th of August, 2025.
The figure is scheduled to be released in April 2026.
