New “Ninja Gaiden 3” figures of Ryu and Kasumi revealed
Kaiyodo has announced two highly anticipated additions to their popular “Revoltech Amazing Yamaguchi” action figure line: Ryu Hayabusa and Kasumi from “NINJA GAIDEN 3: Razor’s Edge”.
The announcement, made via the company’s official X (formerly Twitter) account, has generated considerable excitement among fans of both the action figure series and the Ninja Gaiden video game franchises.
These upcoming releases are part of an ongoing collaborative project between Kaiyodo and Koei Tecmo Games Co., Ltd.
This partnership aims to bring iconic characters from Koei Tecmo’s extensive library of video games to life as highly detailed and articulated action figures within Kaiyodo’s acclaimed “Revoltech Amazing Yamaguchi” series.
The “Revoltech Amazing Yamaguchi” line is well-regarded by collectors and figure enthusiasts for its innovative articulation system, utilizing numerous joints that allow for a wide range of dynamic and expressive poses, capturing the characters’ signature moves and fighting stances.
The line is also known for detailed sculpting and paintwork which faithfully recreates the characters’ appearances from their source material.
The first of the announced figures is Ryu Hayabusa, the legendary super ninja and protagonist of the high-speed, ultra-fast ninja action game “NINJA GAIDEN” series, specifically based on his appearance in “NINJA GAIDEN 3: Razor’s Edge.”
A teaser image has been released by Kaiyodo shows Ryu in a dynamic pose, wielding one of his signature weapons.
The second figure in this announcement is Kasumi, the female ninja and central character from the popular “DEAD OR ALIVE” fighting game franchise who also appears in “NINJA GAIDEN 3: Razor’s Edge”.
The image accompanying the announcement features Kasumi making a distinctive ninja hand sign.
While Kaiyodo has announced that pre-orders for both the Ryu Hayabusa and Kasumi action figures will begin soon, the specific release date and pricing information for these products have yet to be officially announced.
The upcoming release of Ryu Hayabusa and Kasumi in the “Revoltech Amazing Yamaguchi” line is expected to be met with strong demand, further increasing the popularity of both the figure series and the iconic video game characters they represent.
