New My Hero Academia 10th Anniversary and Extra Episode Artwork Revealed

Two new pieces of artwork for the hit anime series My Hero Academia were released today.
The series follows Izuku Midoriya, a boy born without superpowers in a world where most of the population possesses special abilities known as “Quirks”.
A new key visual has been released to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the My Hero Academia anime series.

A separate visual was also released to tease an upcoming extra episode titled More which is scheduled to premiere on May 2, 2026.

This special episode will be available for streaming on Crunchyroll upon its release.
The story for the extra episode adapts Chapter 431 of the original manga by Kohei Horikoshi.
Serving as an epilogue to the series, the episode takes place eight years after the main story concludes and follows Deku and his friends in their lives as adult heroes.
In addition to the anime news, a new smartphone game titled My Hero Academia UNITED SURVIVAL has been officially announced.
The final season of the anime was directed by Naomi Nakayama with Kenji Nagasaki serving as chief director at studio bones.
Yosuke Kuroda handled the series composition while Yoshihiko Umakoshi provided character designs and Yuki Hayashi composed the music.
