New Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 trailer reveals new cast and opening song by King Gnu

The third season of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime, titled The Culling Game Part 1, is scheduled to premiere on January 8.
The announcement was made during the series’ stage panel at Jump Festa ’26 on Saturday, accompanied by a new trailer featuring the season’s opening theme song, “AIZO” by King Gnu.
The new season will commence with a one-hour special comprising the first two episodes.
It will air in the “Super Animeism TURBO” programming block on MBS, TBS, and their affiliates.

Crunchyroll has confirmed that it will stream the series worldwide, excluding Asia, simultaneous with the Japanese broadcast.
The panel also introduced several new voice actors joining the cast to portray key participants in the Culling Game.
The new additions include:
- Kazuya Nakai as Kinji Hakari

- Yuki Sakakihara as Kirara Hoshi

- Tomokazu Sugita as Hiromi Higuruma

- Satoshi Tsuruoka as Fumihiko Takaba

- Yutaka Aoyama as Reggie Star

- Neeko as Kogane

Production remains at Studio MAPPA, with Shōta Goshozono returning to direct following his work on the second season.
Hiroshi Seko continues to oversee the series scripts, while Yosuke Yajima and Hiromi Niwa have taken over character design duties.
Yoshimasa Terui is composing the music for this season. Additionally, Yoshiko Sakakibara returns to voice the character Tengen and serve as the series narrator.
This television premiere follows the theatrical release of Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution (known in Japan as Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution -Shibuya Incident x The Culling Game Begins).

This compilation film, which opened in Japan on November 7 and topped the box office, combined the previous “Shibuya Incident” arc with an advance screening of the first two episodes of the upcoming third season.
This update joins a crowded slate of announcements from the weekend event, which has clarified the future for nearly all of Shueisha’s major properties.
Chainsaw Man is officially adapting the Assassins Arc, while One Piece sets sail for the Elbaph Arc in April 2026.

Other significant reveals included the July 2026 finale for Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, a 2026 return for Black Clover, and a second season for Gachiakuta.

Fans also received confirmation of Sakamoto Days Season 2, Blue Box Season 2, DAN DA DAN Season 3, Mashle: Magic and Muscles Season 3, a My Hero Academia 10th Anniversary bonus episode, and the first glimpse of a World Trigger reboot project was also shown.
