New “Flower Garden” themed Frieren cafe to open across Japan this summer

A new themed cafe based on the world of the popular anime and manga series, Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, is set to open for a limited time.
The new event, titled “Frieren Cafe ~Flower Garden~,” is the second themed cafe for the series, this time with a concept centered on the flower gardens that are a recurring motif in the story.
Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End is a celebrated fantasy series that follows the long life of an elven mage, Frieren, as she journeys through the world long after her original quest to defeat the demon king has ended.

The cafe’s menu features a wide variety of food, desserts, and drinks that are directly inspired by specific, memorable scenes from the anime.
One dish is a salad pasta designed to look like the “magic that creates a ‘beautiful’ flower field,” which Frieren uses in a flashback.

Another item is a maple chicken sandwich inspired by the scene where the characters Stark and Fern share a dance.
Desserts include a recreation of the donuts and tea that Frieren and Fern enjoy as a treat, and a jelly plate designed to look like the “Era Meteor” shower that the original party of heroes watched together.
A small dessert sandwich is also available, cleverly designed to look like Frieren with her head stuck inside a treasure chest-mimic, a recurring gag from the series.
The themed menu includes:
- Main Dishes
- “‘Beautiful’ Flower Field Magic” Salad Pasta – ¥1,990

- “Winter in the Northern Countries” Cream Doria – ¥1,990

- “A Waltz for Travel Money” Maple Chicken Sandwich – ¥1,990
