New action figure of Mobile Suit Gundam’s Char Aznable set to be released
A new action figure of the “Red Comet”, Char Aznable, is set to be released.
The “S.H.Figuarts Char Aznable” is a new, highly-articulated figure based on the iconic antagonist’s appearance in the original 1979 anime, Mobile Suit Gundam.
S.H.Figuarts is a premium, collector-focused line of action figures from Bandai Spirits, known for its high level of detail, screen-accurate proportions, and advanced articulation.
This new figure of the legendary Principality of Zeon ace pilot stands at approximately 15.5cm tall.
It has been engineered with a wide range of motion, allowing fans to recreate Char’s most famous and memorable scenes from the series.
The figure also comes with a comprehensive set of accessories and interchangeable parts.
The full set includes:
- Four interchangeable expression parts
- Three interchangeable left hands and four interchangeable right hands
- A Beam Gun
- A gun joint
- A special “Newtype effect part”
This release provides fans with a definitive, modern action figure of one of the most famous and beloved characters in anime history.
The “S.H.Figuarts Char Aznable” is priced at ¥9,900 (approx. $67 USD / £54 GBP).
It is scheduled to be available at general retail stores from Saturday, the 25th of October.
