Netflix Confirms Steel Ball Run 2nd STAGE Won’t Air Until Fall 2026
Streaming giant Netflix has shared an important production update regarding the future of the anime adaptation of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run.

The story follows protagonists Johnny Joestar and Gyro Zeppeli as they participate in a grueling cross-country horse race across the United States during the late 19th century.
Competitors from around the globe travel to North America to race from San Diego to New York City in pursuit of a massive fifty million dollar grand prize.
Along the treacherous journey, the racers encounter various dangerous adversaries who utilize supernatural abilities to gain an unfair advantage in the competition.
Viewers have been eagerly awaiting news regarding the next batch of episodes following the release of the 1st STAGE on 19 March, with many fans dismayed at the fact that Netflix had not confirmed any details regarding the 2nd STAGE beyond releasing a teaser trailer in late March.
Representatives from the official production committee have now released a public statement thanking audiences for their continued support of the ambitious animated project, as well as confirming how and when the series will return to screens.
The team confirmed that the entire series is being produced in a split-cour format, meaning the season is intentionally divided into multiple separate broadcasting blocks.
