Naruto Shippuden Returns to the Kazekage Rescue Arc for New Ichiban Kuji Collection

Bandai has officially launched a new Ichiban Kuji lottery celebrating one of Naruto Shippuden’s most memorable story arcs with an extensive lineup of collectible prizes inspired by the Kazekage Rescue Mission.

The new lottery revisits the dramatic opening storyline of Naruto Shippuden, which saw Team Kakashi race against the Akatsuki to rescue Gaara after the newly appointed Kazekage was captured by the criminal organization.

At the heart of the collection are six premium MASTERLISE figures that recreate many of the arc’s central characters with highly detailed sculpts and dynamic anime-inspired poses.

Prize A features Naruto Uzumaki as a MASTERLISE figure standing approximately 24 cm tall, capturing the young ninja as he begins his desperate mission to save his longtime rival-turned-ally.

Prize B spotlights Sakura Haruno in a MASTERLISE figure measuring approximately 23 cm tall, highlighting the strength and confidence she displays throughout the rescue operation.

Prize C includes Hatake Kakashi as a MASTERLISE figure standing approximately 25 cm tall, faithfully recreating Team 7’s leader during one of his most memorable battles against the Akatsuki.

Prize D focuses on Gaara in his role as the Fifth Kazekage, with the MASTERLISE figure standing approximately 24 cm tall and depicting the Sand Village leader during the defining events of the storyline.

Prize E introduces Akatsuki member Sasori as a MASTERLISE figure measuring approximately 23 cm tall, bringing one of the arc’s principal antagonists into the collection with an imposing display piece.

Collectors also have the chance to obtain the coveted Last One Prize, which features fellow Akatsuki member Deidara as a MASTERLISE figure standing approximately 21 cm tall and awarded to the person who purchases the final ticket at participating retailers.

The lottery includes a wide variety of additional prizes inspired by memorable characters and moments from the series.

Prize F consists of four desktop collectibles, including magnet-style Shukaku and Kurama head sculptures alongside Deidara’s explosive clay mascot accessories.

Prize G offers a selection of seven stamp and notebook sets that fans can choose from, while Prize H features nine blind-box acrylic charms showcasing artwork from the popular NARUTO 72 illustration series.

Prize I rounds out the standard prize lineup with six selectable A4 visual sheet sets featuring striking artwork centered on members of the Akatsuki, with each prize including two illustrated sheets.

A “Double Chance” campaign will run until the end of September 2026, giving participants another opportunity to win the same Deidara MASTERLISE figure offered as the Last One Prize, with only 50 available.

The Ichiban Kuji Naruto Shippuden: Kazekage Rescue Mission lottery officially launched on June 26, 2026 at participating Seven-Eleven, Ito-Yokado, Youme Town and other participating retailers across Japan, with tickets priced at ¥790 each (approx. $5 USD / £4 GBP).

As with all Ichiban Kuji releases, availability will vary by location and the lottery will conclude once all tickets at each participating retailer have been sold.

An international release may appear later this year, as Bandai regularly release selected Ichiban Kuji lotteries at participating official partner stores across the globe.
